1 Minute Read

Houston philanthropists and transplant patient supporters will come together on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 7 p.m. at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Houston for Nora’s Home at the Kentucky Derby Gala. The event will benefit Nora’s Home facility and programs that provide care, education, and support for transplant patients and their families. Guests are encouraged to dress in Kentucky Derby fashion or cocktail attire.

Gala Chairs Brigitte and Bashar Kalai will welcome guests with a private casino room, live entertainment, a cocktail hour and a silent auction. Guests will enjoy a Kentucky Derby-style dinner before Nora’s Home honors two Winning Circle transplant patients and their families. The 2016 Nora’s Home gala honorees are the Boudwin and Bono families, who have continuously provided leadership and support to the Nora’s Home mission.

“Nora’s Home gala is a fun filled event attended by over 600 friends of the foundation,” said Kayla Lehmann, Executive Director of Nora’s Home. “Proceeds from the evening benefit the Adopt-A-Family fund which provides financial support for families who cannot afford to pay the minimal nightly fee.”
