Sally W. Harris

Sally W. Harris, a senior occupational therapy assistant at Harris Health System-Ben Taub General Hospital, has been appointed to the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners by Texas Gov. Rick Perry. Harris, the only clinically based member from Houston, joins the nine-member board in charge of overseeing the statewide professional standards and licensure of occupational therapists. In Texas, only occupational therapy practitioners licensed by the board can practice. Harris is completing a vacancy term through February 2015 and is expected to be reappointed for a six-year term.
